Not going to lie, when I discovered Gisele’s Grain Free Muesli was virtually the identical Combo to what I’ve been making for years, as superficial as it may sound, I was pretty pleased. I mean who doesn’t have a little self doubt? No matter how much I Study, Practice and Embody Wellness and Pilates, Imposter Syndrome does seem to creep in, and I have to remind myself that this is fully my soul purpose and to have faith in my Path, Choices and Practices. But, let’s be honest when a Supermodel who is the very embodiment of all things wellness is making the near identical recipe combo to you (give or take a couple of adjustments), I mean, who wouldn’t feel a sense of approval. So here it is, the recipe that is going to give new life to your Fruit Salad and remind you, to believe in yourself xoxo
Note: I use a little less Oil. Gisele adds Nutmeg and Ginger in her cookbook
Recipe Ingredients
1tbs Coconut Oil
3tbs Maple Syrup
1tbs Coconut Sugar
1tsp Cinnamon
1/2tsp Sea Salt
3/4 cup Sunflower Seeds
3/4 cup Pumpkin Seeds
1 cup Almonds (flaked or whole)
1 cup Flaked Coconut
3-4tbs Linseeds
3-4tbs Sesame Seeds
Directions
1. Heat oven to 180 degrees. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
2. Heat a large saucepan over low heat. Add 1tbs Coconut Oil and Syrup, mix until melted and combined. Add the Cinnamon and Salt. Turn Flame off.
3. Add the remaining Ingredients, mix well to combine.
4. Transfer the Nut & Seed Mixture to baking trays. Spread evenly. Transfer to oven. Cook until slightly golden. Approx 8-10 Minutes. Remove from oven. Allow to Cool. Transfer to Air tight container.
5. Serve upon your favourite Seasonal Fruit. I love to add a dash of Almond Milk or Goats Yoghurt. With love, and Enjoy xox
